What is your vision for SP; why do you participate
I need to engage with people who have discovered how to deschool themselves and how to make learning an ongoing reality in their lives. My own tool for doing this was a personal journal. Other ways, might be mastermind groups, social networks, or deep immersion in a real community. Critically you can't do it alone, you need feedback from others, and from trying to achieve things in the world.
Tell us about you
I'm a teacher, disenchanted with schools. I'm an innovator, but for a long time I was trapped by the "quality" of my education. Much of what schools and universities do is mere indoctrination. That creates "trained people", square pegs for square holes, in the expectation that square holes are still being made. We are now discovering that both square holes and square hole pegs have a design flaw. They are programmed to destroy the environment, crash economies and decimate human populations. That's what we need to "fix".
